In an intimate new interview, Hailey Bieber opens up about the emotional journey of postpartum life, online speculation, and the strength she finds in love, family, and her bond with husband Justin Bieber.
Hailey Bieber is embracing a new chapter—one filled with love, challenges, and unshakable resilience.
In a heartfelt interview with Vogue Italia published on July 23, the 28-year-old model and entrepreneur offered rare insight into her private life, shedding light on the deeply personal struggles she’s faced since giving birth to her son, Jack Blues, in August 2024. The Rhode founder revealed that the period following childbirth was “the most delicate” of her life—a time marked by emotional vulnerability, transformation, and media pressure.
“Learning to live with a new version of myself was very difficult,” Hailey confessed. But what compounded the challenge, she said, was the constant swirl of misinformation online. “Having to do all this while constantly reading falsehoods on the internet like ‘They’re getting divorced’ or ‘They’re no longer happy together’ is something that really drives you crazy. I’m not even sure I can explain it. It’s a crazy life.”
Despite the relentless rumors, Hailey made one thing clear: “Most of what’s written isn’t true. I do have a real life. It’s the one I share with my wonderful family, with my friends, with the people who know me and love me.”
One of those people is her close friend, model Kendall Jenner, who described Hailey as “caring” and “almost maternal.” Jenner added, “I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, and if I’m having a panic attack, she’ll come right over and take care of me.”
Hailey’s strength is also rooted in her relationship with husband Justin Bieber, whom she married in 2018. The couple, who celebrated their wedding with a lavish ceremony in 2019, have become one of pop culture’s most-watched duos. Though the scrutiny has never quite faded, Hailey told Vogue she’s learned to cope, in part thanks to Justin’s steady guidance.
“He’s been doing this literally since he was a child,” she said. “He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”
And Justin is equally devoted to his wife. In a rare statement to Vogue Italia, the Grammy-winning artist called Hailey “effortless” and praised her ability to juggle her growing beauty empire, fashion influence, and new role as a mom. “She’s in the spotlight and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art, and fashion,” Justin said. “And the way she makes being a mom and wife look easy.”
He added, “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
Back in May, Hailey fiercely defended their relationship in Vogue‘s cover story. When asked whether she thought online hate would subside post-pregnancy, she answered with candor and edge: “Well, I thought seven years in it would’ve already, and it hasn’t… So I guess these bitches are going to be mad.”
Hailey Bieber may be navigating new terrain—motherhood, mental health, media frenzy—but she’s doing so with grit, grace, and unshakeable love for her family. As she and Justin continue sharing their lives, their story remains a powerful testament to resilience, growth, and the strength found in partnership.
