Music has always been part of Elena’s identity. Born into a family of elite musicians, a concert pianist and a violin virtuoso, she showed exceptional talent from the age of two, sitting at the piano and playing by ear. Her parents nurtured this rare ability, first teaching her at home and later enrolling her, at just seven years old, in a prestigious lyceum for highly gifted children known for shaping future classical performers. By the age of seventeen, Elena was already performing at well known concert halls across Europe.
Originally from Moldova, Elena’s artistic journey has been shaped by life across cultures. She lived in Russia, France, and the United States, while performing for audiences in Israel and Canada. Her path eventually led her to Germany, where she studied at the renowned Robert Schumann Music Academy in Düsseldorf. There, she earned a Master’s degree in piano studies and fully discovered the magnificent power of her voice. Although she had always loved singing, it was during her academic years that she began focusing on it professionally.
A turning point came almost unexpectedly. Elena entered a song contest and won immediately in the Rock Pop category. From that moment, her artistic direction became clear. “I love playing the piano, but singing is my genuine passion. Being able to use your voice as a musical instrument and truly touch the audience is absolutely fantastic,” she shares.
Her determination was further strengthened through musical engagements in Dubai and Germany, which helped shape her confidence as a vocalist. In 2009, Elena released her debut album as a singer, I Believe in You. The album, filled with grand pop arrangements, emotional ballads, and powerful rock cover versions, made an instant impact. It reached number eight on the German newcomer charts, climbed to number five, and remained in the Top 10 for an impressive period. A television spot on RTL even titled it “album of the year,” marking Elena as a rising force in the European music scene.
Following successful tours and highly celebrated performances, including appearances on New York Broadway, Elena returned to her roots with her second and deeply personal album, Liebesträume or Dreams of Love. Officially released at the end of September, this album represents the most intimate chapter of her artistry. In Liebesträume, Elena fuses beloved romantic classical works with contemporary popular arrangements, creating a sound that feels timeless yet modern.
For the first time, she also steps fully into the role of composer. Many of the album’s twelve tracks are her own creations, inspired by classical romantic masterpieces and transformed into emotive popular songs. Each piece is accompanied by Elena’s masterful piano playing, performed live as she sings, reinforcing her identity as a true thoroughbred musician. The German lyrics explore love, relationships, self discovery, and the search for life’s meaning, offering listeners both beauty and reflection.
